Media Impact also provides a unique aerial photography service with Choppercam,an industrial grade purpose designed radio controlled helicopter camera platform that will have the capability to produce stable near broadcast quality HD 16:9 video and very high resolution photographs at low altitude, i.e. where full sized helicopters cannot go due to size/noise/rotorblast/regulations.

With GPS position and altitude hold and autonomous hover Choppercam is specifically designed and configured for aerial photography, aerial surveys and the television and motion picture industries. The remote controlled camera mount gimbal allows 3-axis gyro stabilised pan, tilt and roll movements. An onboard microwave transmitter downlinks the live video signal to the camera operator, images can be recorded on board, on the ground or both. The system is managed by two operators with independent controls: the Choppercam pilot and the camera operator.
